more than just a rescue plan
Almost 40 years ago, when Pete and Angie Spackman, Founders of AIM, were living in Peterhead, Scotland in the UK, within the vibrant, Spirit-filled environment of Faith Acres Bible School, never could they have imagined that all these years later, having settled in the United States, raised a family and faithfully grown a thriving ministry, that God would place this same Bible School - which had meant so much to the young Pete and Angie - into their hands! But this is exactly what the Lord has miraculously done!
WELCOME TO AIM SCHOOL OF MINISTRY
Though we cannot fathom it, this vast acreage, its buildings and prayer tower; sitting defiantly on the rugged landscape of the North East coast of Scotland, where once students prayed 24/7 over the glorious and history steeped territory of Inverugie; have come under our safekeeping.
“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.” Eccles. 9:10
In light of this scriptural command, after many years of laying fallow, AIM has begun the exciting (and somewhat intimidating) journey of bringing this school back to life!
Angie shares:
“Pete, myself and Brian Paterson, AIM’s VP & Director of AIM Moldova, were all part of Faith Acres back in its heyday and have great and powerful memories of its impact on the lives of young people all over the UK and beyond. This is an incredible opportunity to bring what the ministry of AIM does ‘full-circle.’ Not only do we have the opportunity to bring this school back to life, we also have the chance to EQUIP, DISCIPLE, and SEND the precious lives that have been entrusted to us, back into the mission field –however God leads them. We are learning that, for God, it’s never ‘just a rescue plan’. He has so much more for the children and young people we rescue and we are desperate to steward the harvest and safeguard the purposes God has woven in to each and every one of them. What could be better than helping them discover their God-given gifts and calling and releasing them back to Jesus?
We want to develop SPIRITUAL LEADERS. Adullam International Ministries was birthed around the story of David and the Cave of Adullam and just like David, who for a time sought refuge there, we know that there comes a time to step out of the cave and into the battle.”

SOME HISTORY around aim scotland
Scotland has a rich and varied spiritual history that spans many centuries, with many significant revivals starting here. As we speak to people about the School of Ministry, it is clear that The Lord has also been speaking to multiple people about the country of Scotland.
How exciting to be part of something new The Lord is doing!
Perched on the easternmost point of mainland Scotland, Peterhead is one of the largest towns in Aberdeenshire, with a population just under 20,000. It is also one of the busiest fishing ports in Europe, sitting side by side with the dramatic cliff-edge ruin of Slains Castle.
PIONEERS, ARE YOU READY?
In faith, we are believing that AIM School of Ministry will welcome its first students in Fall 2024.
But before we can get the School of Ministry up and running there is a huge amount of practical repair and restoration work to be done. God has already brought alongside us some amazing teams of people who have been out to Scotland and really got their hands dirty, clearing out years of debris and clutter and making a huge inroad into the work to be done there.
We cannot let this momentum stop!
